Daniel: Daniel Tague holds a Master’s degree in acupuncture from The Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and is nationally certified through the NCCAOM. He has been trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and Worsley Five Element acupuncture. He is certified by Virginia Doran in facial rejuvenation, and offers ancillary treatment such as gua sha, tuina, moxibustion, and cupping therapies. Daniel also has a Bachelor’s degree from Tyler School of Art in painting and sculpture, and worked for many years in child care, teaching, and the arts. The art making process develops one’s tactile senses in a way that lends a unique set of skills to Daniel’s practice, where he seeks to create a safe, comfortable, and fun healing environment for his patients. To schedule acupuncture or a therapy session with Daniel Tague, contact him directly at 267-269-0341.
Robert: After graduating from Sunstate Academy for Massage in Florida of spring 2010, Robert moved to Philadelphia to freelance massage around the city. After surveying many spas around the area, he strongly felt that the rushed environment did not suit him. Instead of aiding those to basque in luxury and excess, Robert wanted to heal. After becoming a practitioner of yoga, he found word of Ayurveda and realized that it was exactly what he had always wanted to do in his lifelong profession. Robert offers Ayurvedic and other massage services at Half Moon Ayurveda. To schedule an appointment with Robert, contact him directly at 813-830-3674.
Natalie: Natalie first began her professional career in psychology and special education. She quickly noticed how a lack of proper nutrition was at the root of the majority of her cases. Unsatisfied with the generalization of Western models, she discovered ayurveda which treats everyone as an individual. Ayurveda also contains psychological and spiritual components that tied to her yogic practices, bringing her studies full circle. She is certified in abhyanga (ayurvedic massage, one and two practitioner), shirodhara (warm oil treatment over the forehead) and svedana (ayurvedic herbal steam therapy). To schedule an appointment with Natalie, contact her directly at 516-551-6041.
Varuni: Varuni has been studying and following Ayurveda for 15 years. Impressed by it’s simple and effective cures, she is happy to be able to share this science with others. Certified in Ayurvedic massage (Abhyanga) and steam treatments (Svedana), therapies that feel great, and bring balance and joy to the body and mind. She believes one of the reason for Ayurveda’s increasing popularity over the years is that it aims to remove the cause of disease, rather than just treating the symptoms.
Katelynn: Katelynn Ingersoll first discovered ayurveda while studying yoga, which is often called the sister science of yoga. As a yoga instructor she desires to have answers to the endless questions about health, well being, lifestyle and diet asked by her students. The next thing she knew, she found herself at the feet of Dr. Vassant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico. Her studies eventually brought her to a traditional healing village in India and back to Philadelphia where she now gives one on one Ayurvedic consultations and treatments, leads workshops and seasonal cleanses, and teaches yoga. To schedule a consultation or treatment with Katelynn, contact her directly at 610-462-1352.
